Costa Rica moved up the Tourism Competitiveness charts this year, getting the second spot in Latin America, second only to Barbados.
Despite being ranked as 118th out of 133 countries for its roads, it rose up the charts for its transparent politics, and government support for tourism.
The ranking was released through a report by the World Economic Forum.
Google Barbados and see how many adds show up in the right hand column. Repeat with Costa Rica.

BTW.
I live in Costa Rica.
