This post is quite old so 2 years after terry said that Tamarindo has become a highly urbanized and upscale community, I bet that the place has improved some more. More buildings, more apartments and condo, more shops, more traffic. Well, heavy traffic could be the result of not being ready for the economic boom in your area. You suddenly find that roads have become too small for the deluge of vehicles that pass through it everyday and the place has become too noisy because of all the people around you.
