Please give us a short summary of your website?

Surfing Playa Grande is all about Playa Grande Costa Rica. Local businesses can advertise themselves and residents and visitors can get info on the national park, news, see the tide and swell charts and there are vacation rentals and properties for sale listed as well.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Opening a branch of my property management company in Playa Grande.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

2002 - It was about American Writers for an English class in college.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

    It's what it is about.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

There are not similar offerings for that area.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep it and use it for advertising.

    Great.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

    I wouldn't.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

    Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

    None.

What has been your biggest challenge?

    It's not that complicated.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Other websites and word of mouth.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

    It has not.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

    3 weeks.

    Do you love your site?

Yes, it looks great and provides a useful service.

    What is your website address?
