Yes, my friend, there ARE monkeys in Costa Rica... Actually monkeys are present in the tropics of every continent. They evolved from the presence of rain forests and a place for mammals in the food chain connected to the trees and their fruit. In Costa Rica there are four species of monkeys, some rarely seen, but all friendly, with one on the "vulnerable" list of species. These monkeys can be seen in Costa Rica´s awsome national parks (and outside). Take a ride down there!
