Located about five hundred and fifty kilometers off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, this is where Cocos Island can be found. It is colloquially known as Isla del Coco, and is considered as one of many national conservation parks of Costa Rica.
Uninhabited is it, though it just so happens to be quite popular among divers. This is due to the amount of hammerhead sharks, rays, dolphins, as well as a few other large water mammals, all of which can be found in the islands deep, off shore waters.
