Preserving our lush forests

I have to admit that I'm not into trekking. I always fear that I will slip and land on my butt so I get nervous whenever I go to forested areas.

Nevertheless, I know that we should preserve our natural forests and even propagate the endemic species there to preserve the biodiversity in that area and ultimately, to curb global warming.

Deforestation is now at an all time high no thanks to all those illegal loggers who do nothing but cut trees. Man's greed has caused forest destruction and global warming.

Still, it's good to know that there are still a few forests and mountains that still remain untouched like the Merendon Mountains. We should all do our best to live it that way and plant as many premium endemic trees as we can to save Mother Earth.

Don't be gullible

The moral lesson of the story is wherever you go or whatever country you are in, be wise and alert and don't be gullible. It's not bad to have the latest gadgets because you're a techie. What's bad is unwittingly donating it to scammers by trusting too much. Trust should not be automatic. It should be earned. After being fooled once no things to being gullible, please do yourself a favor by not letting others fool you again. Because if you become a victim again, you have noone to blame but yourself.
