I have been told about this Arenal Volcano as a true beauty. Yes, I am an adveturous person, indeed. I always see to it that every year, I visit one place that I have never been before. For me this is a solitude. This is the best time for me to stay away from the fast paced city and the stressful office works. I also heard about La Fortuna de San Carlos. It is a place of natural beauty and its unexploited environment. Next year, this will be my next desbtination.Link: La Fortuna de San Carlos: Your Gateway to the Arenal (a

This is really surprising! Well, each country has its own culture. Since you go there as an expat, that only way that you can adapt to this TICO time is by going with the flow. This is their culture and there is nothing that we can do about it. I was once an expat in Costa Rica and yes, I agree that they live by this virtue "pure life". At first, I was surprised with their way of life. Anyway, it is their culture and we have to respect that. Link: The Tico Time (culture); Central America Vacation Artic

It is always essential to travel lightly in any country when backpacking however the term "travel lightly" might be misleading. The idea is to travel with nothing but the following items; a toothbrush, a bar of soap, 2 pairs of underwear, 2 pairs of socks, crocs, 2 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and enough cash to get you through however you long you plan to be backpacking. Minimalist is the way to go. Whenever I backpack, I put my entire life into one backpack as two backpacks are cumbersome.Link: Backpacking Tips in Costa Rica (backpacking); Central A

This post is quite old so 2 years after terry said that Tamarindo has become a highly urbanized and upscale community, I bet that the place has improved some more. More buildings, more apartments and condo, more shops, more traffic. Well, heavy traffic could be the result of not being ready for the economic boom in your area. You suddenly find that roads have become too small for the deluge of vehicles that pass through it everyday and the place has become too noisy because of all the people around you. Congestion is probably a result of urbanization so we would have to deal with it if we want to live in the urban jungle. Link: Tamarindo: I read the best things about Tamarindo, Cost

The innovation of the windmill for water pumping is truly significant to be utilized in farming, domesticating animals, and working in the irrigation. This kind of windmill power can also be helpful for using electric generation. If you are using small generator this can be employed as well. But, then it won't totally support because this windmill power is specially designed for pumping water. I hope to get one, so I can also use it for field works in the rural areas in my country. It is viable and effective as well.Link: Nicaragua, Technology; Windmill powered rope pump in Ni
