    Corcovado National Park

    12/31/09 14:49

If biodeiversity is the name of the game, then Costa Rica will surely be one of those countries on top. Meanwhile, in Costa Rica, there are even more destinations that are more biologically intense than some. These areas have been preserved by the Costa Rican government and turned into national parks that now serve as a good source of tourism income for the country.

A Spa Experience in Costa Rica

    12/30/09 14:49

Personally, putting myself under a spa treatment is not the kind of thing that I will do during my spare time. I don't know. Sometimes I just find it expensive, although sometimes, I get temped to visit a spa salon because of what I hear as the rejuvenating effects of a spa treatment.

    A Costa Rican Culinary Tour

    12/29/09 14:49

So well let's face it. If you're looking for a sophisticated cuisine that has influenced the world to a certain degree, Costa Rica is not the place to be. Costa Rica has not been known to be world "power" (like that of France, Japan, and Mexico) when it comes to food, nor does it seem to plan to. Fine dining is also out of the question for Costa Ricans, who do not seem to be much into sophisticated dining.

Xandari Resorts and Spa in Esterillo

    12/27/09 14:49

I'm personally not so much a fan of those big hotels, where there are literally hundreds of rooms and probably thousands of staff members who attend to the guests from day-to-day. These are those big hotels where it is difficult to feel like you are on an adventure vacation. It feels more like you are actually in some sort of apartment. I don't know. Sometimes I just feel that way.

    Tope Nacional

Belated Merry Christmas to all of you readers of CostaRicaTodo.com. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas celebration, for I most definitely have. The temperature was particularly cold as I celebrated the big day near the mountainside, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Monteverde and the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve

    12/25/09 14:49

The purpose of travelling is usually to see worlds that are beyond what we can conceive of at the moment. Some do it with great expectations, while a few go out of their respective homes and embark on an adventure without much expectations in their minds. This is the spirit of adventure.
