For children, driving through woods and forests with active volcanoes lurking nearby can be a fright. Why can't they just take the conventional coast trip, anyway?
However, if your family has been taking on low-risk trips for the past few years, then I am sure that you will agree that these kinds of exotic trips are intoxicating--the kinds of trips that you can experience in Costa Rica.
I have not mentioned about the abundant and diverse wildlife yet, mind you.
